Staten Island Ferry "John F. Kennedy" & NYNJ Rail carfloat ferry passing Robbins Reef Lighthouse         
1965 Kennedy Class. Built by Levingston Shipbuilding, Orange, Texas, 1965 (delivered 5/14/65). The Kennedy is the flagship of the Kennedy Class ferries and the last of the three in service, being a car boat with three decks for passengers and capacity for vehicles and freight on the lower level. The Kennedy class ferry is 297' long with a width of 69' and capacity of 3,055 passengers.
