| In the 1970s, Conrail build this freight platform ramp and siding off NJ Route 37 when the CNJ branch east of Parkway was abandoned after the South Toms River freight station closed in 1973. Unfortunately the "new freight station" never saw much use as by then LTL/LCL and carload freight were going downhill due to trucks and it rots away today, overgrown. |
